Function

Katherm disperses cold air throughout the whole room and screens off cold air from the glazing around the perimeter. Katherm floor duct heaters have a very low water content and so are easy to control.

Description

Once installed, all that can be seen are the attractive roll-up or linear grilles. Kampmann high-output cu/al convectors are concealed within the duct.

Katherm NK is available in the following heights: 92, 120, 150 and 200 mm.

Application

As well as screening cold air, Katherm NK can also cover the remaining heat requirements. Where their output matches the heat requirement, they can also be used as the primary heat source in an area.

FAQ

Can Katherm NK also be used with low water temperatures?

Yes. Depending on the nominal heat load in the room, Katherm NK can be operated with higher temperature ranges, e.g. 75/65 °C, or with lower flow and return water temperatures, such as 45/40 °C or 35/30 °C.

Where can Katherm NK be used?

To operate more effectively, Katherm NK should be installed directly in front of cold glazing where they can provide cold air screening and also provide supplementary heat. If the nominal heat load is appropriate, they can also be used to provide primary heating for the entire space.
