Description
Galaxis Z combines radiant heating at the same time as supplying centrally prepared fresh air and is intended to be fitted between two radiant ceiling panels. Galaxis Z guarantees thermally comfortable heating with a targeted supply of fresh air precisely to where it is needed. The supply air can be fed in turbulence-free with an optimum induction effect, thanks to individually adjustable linear outlets.
Features
- Supply air unit consists of:
- Air duct
- Supply air spigot
- Linear outlets with air rectifiers
- Pipe connection to the radiant ceiling - Mounting height of from 6.0 to 8.0 m
Energy-saving potential
Due to minimal temperature stratification and the lower air temperature, heating with radiant ceiling panels alone is already positive in terms of energy. Mechanical ventilation is only switched on when needed or when people are in the area. Fresh air is fed in energy-efficiently and precisely to where it is needed. Pure heating without ventilation therefore provides additional savings of electrical energy. Cushions of heat at ceiling level are also dissipated .
Applications
- Particularly in buildings with intermittent need for ventilation, such as sports halls or multi-purpose halls
- All buildings that require static heating but where there is no space on the walls or ceiling.

FAQ
What are the key features of Galaxis radiant ceiling panels with fresh air function?
They combine radiant heating with the simultaneous supply of centrally prepared fresh air, thereby saving space and energy. They guarantee thermally comfortable heating with the precise supply of fresh air. This is particularly effective combined with a decentralised air conditioning system. The Airblock C provides this in conjunction with centralised heat recovery. The fresh air is fed draught-free with a maximum induction effect into where it is needed thanks to individually adjustable linear outlets.
What are the main uses for this solution?
All buildings where static heating is preferred but where there is no room for units on the walls or ceiling. Heating and ventilating with Galaxis Z is the right solution here, especially in buildings where there is intermittent need for ventilation, such as sports halls or multi-purpose halls, where the benefits of Galaxis Z come into their own. When there is no need for increased ventilation, the units can be operated to provide energy-saving comfortable heating without creating any noise and at larger sports events and/or where there is a large audience, fresh air can be fed in energy-efficiently and precisely.
What are the major energy-saving advantages of the combined Galaxis Z with supply air function?
Heating with Galaxis radiant ceiling panels alone is energy-efficient due to the minimal temperature stratification and lower air temperature. There is also an additional saving of electrical energy when heating without ventilation. Only when there is a large number of people or a requirement, for instance, night-ventilation, is mechanical ventilation provided. The system also eliminates cushions of heat under the ceiling.
