Climate chamber
Temperatures ranging from -15 °C to +45 °C are possible
Air temperatures ranging from - 15 °C to + 45 °C can be produced in the climate chamber at air humidities of 20 to 95 %. The units are therefore even tested under extreme conditions. Typical issues involved here include the formation of condensation and frost protection functions in particular.
If very small volumes of conditioned air are required in the air flow laboratory or the multi-purpose laboratory, the climate chamber acts purely as an air buffer from which only the required volume of air is diverted.
Units, such as the Kavent BA plus, which need to cut off the air supply automatically even under the most extreme temperatures at excessively high wind pressures, are tested here in real operating situations. It is therefore possible to operate at overpressures and negative pressures of +/- 600 Pa.
